Creative Process:
For a series of accessories and leather outerwear collections designed for a fast-fashion retailer catering to the Asian market, the design direction fused modern femininity with market-focused commercial appeal. Driven by the creative director and shaped in close collaboration with merchandising teams, the process integrated trend research, range planning, and supplier sourcing with cohesive material and color concepts, evolving from technical drawings and supplier briefings through prototype sampling to final adjustments before production.
The accessories collections spanned handbags, eyewear, jewelry, and footwear, where industrial-inspired sculpted forms, sleek finishes, bold hardware, and metallic accents transformed everyday staples into statement pieces. Playful yet refined, the range balanced eye-catching highlights with versatile essentials, from athleisure sneakers and wedge sandals to knitted ankle boots.
In parallel, the leather outerwear collections focused on timeless core shapes and proven bestsellers, elevated through premium lamb nappa and suede in sophisticated earthy tones. Novelty details — including braided trims, tassels, ribbed inserts, custom-designed zip pullers, and geometric cutlines — added a distinctive signature, resulting in assortments that combined market viability with fresh, season-driven design updates.
