Project Overview

DineCircle is a mobile-first, subscription-based dining app designed to eliminate decision fatigue and help users discover restaurants with confidence. Research revealed that diners felt overwhelmed by endless options, inconsistent reviews, and uncertainty around what would suit their occasion. The solution centers on curated restaurant selections tailored to preferences, context, and membership tier — replacing volume with guided choice. The experience was designed to be intuitive and rewarding, aligning user satisfaction with business value by helping restaurants fill off-peak hours through seamless booking flows.

Scope of Work

The project spanned the full product and UX process:

• User Research & Personas: Explored how diners make decisions, identifying motivations like finding relevant restaurants quickly, assessing atmosphere, and deciding if a venue is “worth it.” Insights shaped the curated subscription experience.

  
  

• Product Strategy & Feature Definition: Defined membership tiers, curated restaurant selections, and booking flows. Decisions prioritized clarity and meaningful guidance over sheer volume.

  
  

• UX Architecture & Flows: Structured restaurant pages and subscription flows around decision-critical information, emphasizing curated recommendations, occasion-based highlights, and seamless bookings that reduce cognitive load.

  
  

• UI System & Visual Language: Developed a cohesive visual system balancing premium aesthetics with usability. Typography, spacing, and imagery were designed to feel intuitive, calm, and approachable across devices.
